Caren McCaleb
Caren McCaleb is a graduate of Cornell University and lives and works in Los Angeles. She has edited the award winning documentaries Life as You Know It (A&E) & The McCombie Way (ITVS Independent Lens, AFI Fest and Palm Springs International ShortFest). She edited Plain Art, a feature documentary that premiered at the Fargo Film Festival March 2008 and won the Ruth Landfield Award. Her short film, Creation, screened at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival.
Recent work includes editing short films for the Leakey Foundation, Blind Children’s Center, the World Festival of Music, Raiford Rogers Modern Ballet, Simon and Schuster and Little Brown and Company.
She is currently producing and directing a short documentary about one LAUSD elementary school's bold attempt to improve math comprehension through teaching Singapore Math.
